Having traveled the world from an early age with my father, a merchant marine captain, and my mother, who owned and operated restaurants in New York City, I’ve always felt at home in hotels, restaurants, and the culture of hospitality.
That connection started early. At 13, I was already working at Nathan’s Famous on 43rd Street in Manhattan, immersed in the energy, rhythm, and human side of the business.
Today, those experiences continue to shape the way I photograph hospitality and food. My background as a lifestyle photographer allows me to approach restaurants, resorts, chefs, and culinary environments with a broader visual perspective—capturing not just the food itself, but the atmosphere, emotion, and experience surrounding it.
