Babybel Wax Tracks paired Timbaland with the brand’s iconic red wax to create two exclusive remixes of “I’m Your Baby,” pressed onto miniature vinyl records and released with custom mini turntables.

I photographed the still campaign in tandem with the motion production, working within the pace and constraints of the video shoot while creating a distinct set of portraits, environmental images, and product details.

The campaign received two Silver and one Bronze at the 2026 Clio Awards.

With Timbaland available for only four hours, every setup had to be efficient and intentional. Our stills were captured within a tightly scheduled, motion-first production, moving quickly between portraits, product imagery, hands-on moments at the console, and close details of the miniature vinyl and turntable.

To preserve the atmosphere of the recording studio, we balanced three distinct lighting environments: the existing practical light, continuous LED sources, and modified Profoto strobes. Maintaining that ambient mood while keeping Timbaland properly shaped and separated was technically demanding, particularly in the limited space shared by both still and motion crews.

All of our strobe lighting was handheld, which allowed us to reposition instantly, stay clear of the video team, and adapt without slowing the production. That mobility was essential to creating a polished, cinematic body of stills within a very compressed shooting window.
